"I bestow this beacon,
To this empty world.
Show us the middle of the void,
Be the center of the universe,
And of every single existence.
It will be the compass,
And the source of all light.
Your name shall be: Core"
He creates a burning sphere, and calls him: Core.
Core blazes forth marking the center of all that exists and of the void itself and filling the void with light

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
"Bah, Core is far too bright, any Creations we might make would sooner or later be ruined in its blazing light.
What it needs is something to limit its shine.
But something that did it evenly and did not collapse in on itself.
Such as a capsule of gas, covering the surface in something see-through yet restrictive.
Otherwise, we would need to make our Creations anew when they pale in the light"
He would make yellow gas pour forth, covering Core in a thick layer that dims the destructive force of its rays and leaves a visible 'taint' on the once-pure light.
[Private to GM: Go easy on me if I messed up, dun wanna incur the wrath of Ao right away >.<]
The gas masks the full brightness of the core leaving its light more dim than previously

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Roland pulls a large möbius strip made out of fine dark marble out of the aether.
He sets the strip circling the Core in such a way that some part of it is always in darkness.
Roland Creates the mobius strip
The mobius strip forms a massive band around the core flowing around with each side progressing from light to dark and back again

"Ack..." Haxxor wanders in, swigging something divine from a jug. "you call that a fireyball? I can do yah better than that!" With a large belch gasses flew from his mouth and he set it alight causing a giant ball of eternally burning gasses. "Now thash what you call a 'sol' Or meybe I'll call it a "sun" who knows? I don't."
And thus did Haxxor create the Sun, that would shine upon the Core that Gabryl had made.
the sun begins shining adding another source of heat and light to the void, It shines out in full not blocked by the yellow mist

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Caius looks upon what the other gods had wrought and nods approvingly. "Certainly I can work with such material." The god reaches into the depths of the core and pulls out a large mass of the bright and shining material. Slowly he works it in his hands, crushing the gleaming energy between his fingers as he works it into shape. After some time he at last produces a concentrated jewel, burning like a candle in the void. With one mighty blow from his hand the jewel splits into six parts of unequal size. Blowing mightily upon them, their outer surfaces cool into perfect spheres which he releases to float in the void.
And so Caius created planets to float within the void.
The planets form and begin to drift through the void some inside the span of the mobius strip and some without

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Looking upon creation for the first time, Bucol notices something lacking.
Where is all the water? Any life I've ever seen needs some form of water to keep it alive! With this thought, water springs forth on the strip of land around Core, making an ocean along its entirety.
There, that should do for now.
Bucol Creates Water
Water takes shape and covers the mobius strip completely blocking its unmarred surface from view. Through its day night cycle on its far side some of the water frosts over and thaws once it returns to the light side

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Tritona appears within the void, taking in the beginning works of the gods. The brightness of the sun and muted light of the core feel warm upon her face. Upon seeing the vast mobious strip ocean, Tritona claps her hands in delight, "Thank you, Bucol. It is wonderful."
Looking upon the planets created by Caius, the Lady frowns slightly at the dryness of them. Stretching forth her hands she draws forth a portion of the yellow gas that surrounds the core. Her nimble fingers trace swirling patterns through it, stretching, folding, drawing the gas into different whirling shapes.
"That which was hard shall crumble,
What was smooth shall be made rough,
The dry earth shall crack,
And yield space within it's crust."
Blue pulses of light flare between Tritona's hands as she manipulates the gas further, softly changing it's color and makeup.
The Goddess scoops up a portion of the now greenish tinted gas and hurls it at one of the smaller planets. She sends similar clouds at the two medium sized planets, and the majority of the cloud at the largest planet.
With a glance to Casius, Tritona says, "The last two, one large and one small, I shall leave dry for you, Earthlord."
Tritona creates a corresive gas which eats into the surfaces of four of the planets, scoring their smooth surfaces into pits and rough gouges. Interconnected canals, chasms, channels and great divots miles deep and covering great swaths of territory appear wherever the gas touches the planet's surfaces, but still some parts of the surface are left untouched and as smooth as when Caius first crafted them. A few moments after leaving the Lady's hands, the gas dissapates.
Four of the drifting planets are scoured and pitted by the gas leaving odd shapes and valleys upon their surface

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Looking upon the newly scored and pitted planets, the Water Goddess again reaches out her left hand towards Bucol's mobious strip, making a connection with the endless oceans coursing around it. Drawing a portion of the waters into herself, she stretched forth her right hand, sending a stream of water from each finger towards one of the planets, filling up the craters, canals and cavities with oceans, spanning across each world and giving the foundation for life to each of them, except the two her acid fog had not touched previously.
Tritona creates seas, oceans, and waters across the surfaces of four worlds
The scoured worlds become filled with water in their valleys creating a system of oceans on each of the worlds

"Bah this won't do... There's no life on it!! We got water, we got gasses there should be life!! Come on you stupid life. Form!!" He stomped on the ground in a fit of rage and all sorts of plant life formed.
"Ooooooh!!! Grains!! Grapes!! Now I can remember-brewing!! This will be so much fun!!"
And thus were plants brought to this world and Haxxor went back to fermenting them.
The plants are seeded yet lie dormant water and earth they have in plenty as well as light but as for gas there is precious little and situated only around the Core where the plants would burn

Roland harnesses the void in straps of starlight, sending it flowing through the stone and earth eating away at it, forming hollows. some were the size of mountains, others barely pock marks in the earth. he left some open to the sky for water and air to flow into the caves.
Roland has created caves.
Caves form in the planets and on the strip. Those open to the surface on the strip fill with water from the massive world ocean

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Watching Haxxor sow seeds across the lands and seas of all the worlds, Tritona frowns, understanding that they cannot grow without all the right elements to support their life. Not wanting to see her fellow god disappointed that his act did not produce the results he wanted, she decides to take an action of her own.
Tritona brings her hands together, closing her eyes and centering herself for a moment before carrying out her next act of creation. The first sign that the Ocean Goddess was exerting her power was a dramatic increase in the density of the fog roiling outwards around her feet. The mists continued to roll outwards, thickening, rising higher and obscuring her form beneath their blanket of water vapors. Simultaneously, the ocean of the mobius strip, and the waters on all four planets began to leak forth mists of their own, the vapors streaming forth to blanket each planet in an atmosphere. The rising layerss of gases were derived from particles drawn from the oceans and some elements of the solid ground, evenly blanketing the surface of each planet above it's highest point, but clinging to each world according to the dictates and order that Gabryael had imposed on all things.
The fog symbolizing the manifestion of her powers rapidly dissipates as Tritona exhales and looks around with a smile. "Now let us see what we have wrought, Haxxor."
Tritona creates life-sustainable atmospheres for all worlds with water on them.
The planets and the Strip are filled with a fresh breath of air and the plants on the planets begin to bloom except on the 2 that have no water. The world ocean of the strip is soon filled with aquatic plants on its surface and under its seas

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Seeing the efforts the other divine beings are going to just in order to create some plants, requiring so many gods to work together to create the right situations, Morier sighed and once again decided to show the others how to do things efficiently.
In the caverns of all land and on the dark sides of the barren planets, Morier grasps handfuls of the matter he finds there - cold earth, darkness, and air - and shapes them into humanoid shapes, finally denying them the Rest inherent in inert matter, ironically making them further away from himself than they were, and in theory forcing them into a pseudo-life.
"With one move, I did what the rest of you have spent two Aeons collaborating on. Perhaps now the use of efficiency is clear to you." He yawns and seems to drift off again.
Morier creates the Elementals in all places hidden from light.
The elementals take shape in the dark side of the strip and the hidden caves and night sides of the planets, Beings of animate darkness, earth and air. While formed in darkness they had no restriction as to where they could roam except for the Elementals of Darkness whose existence was weakened in the light.
The Elementals moved but lacked a will or motivation, they had no needs to pursue and so some wandered while some maintained the minimum activity their restless existence would allow

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
I feel that without Dirt on it, the Strip will be frankly a dull place
He nods and winks to Tritona, No offense to you, my good lady. I simply think that if there should be land and sea, there should be land and sea everywhere. all in balance of course. Bucol puts his hands deep into the sea, and pulls up parts of the mobius, creating areas of land with the water.
Bucol creates hills and valleys and plains of earth, covering half the Strip.
A total of half the strip is raised creating both mighty continents and long island chains, this new land becomes covered in a new land version of the sea plants. Some of the tunnels connecting caves are raised tot he surface creating the first caves on the strip that aren't flooded and allowing some elementals to rise to the surface.
Now here comes the good part.
Bucol reaches, once again towards the Strip, and plucks a grape from the vine. Then, he finds a stalk of barley of sufficient size and pushes it into the grape. Holding his creation in his hands, he molds the plants into flesh. When he holds his hands open again, a miniature of himself (without the gut, or the beard) is shown to the rest of the gods. He whispers in its tiny ear: Breathe, and live, little one. "Who am I?" asks the tiny creature. You shall be known as Ask, as will your children, and the many generations beneath you. But your name shall be... Jim. "Thank you, oh wonderful master!" cried Jim. You're very welcome! now, go forth and multiply mightily! "Wait," said Jim, very bright for such a young, small thing, "I have no wife!" Oh, yeah, forgot about that. Bucol went, gathered the materials again, and created for the second time, Life. Here she is! your new wife! "But, that's another man..." Jim said, tinily. For Caius' dirt loving sake... with another wave, Bucol changed Jim to Jamie. There! if you're not happy, too damned bad! He then placed Jamie and her husband onto a piece of the mobius not covered with water, and left them to their devices. And don't forget to multiply! MIGHTILY!
Bucol Creates the Ask Race
The ask race consisting of Jim and Jamie set forth upon the Strip and begin living off of the plants of the land. with time their family begins to expand though it would still be many years till there was a significant population.

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Roland looks out at the multiplying Ask.
"How sad they don't have dreams other then drink."
Roland starts spinning the night upon a loom, making a realm of dreams that all can enter when they sleep.
With it the wise and skilled may seek knowledge in the half truths of dreams and visions. Some may even find ways to reform the waking world with the dreamtime.
Roland has made the dreamtime.
The dreamtime is formed and a strange place it is a shifting dreamscape with hidden knowledge within its depths. The Elementals take little notice while the Ask at this point do not yet know the full potential of the dreamtime, and believe they are but simple dreams when they wake

"Element fights element,
All swirl without reason.
I give system to their rage.
There shall be four seasons,
Four seasons for four elements.
Each can reign chainless,
When its time comes.
Light and darkness let change themselves,
Often as the Core commands."
Gabryael creates the four seasons
The seasons begin each taking their turn as the power of Sun and core wax and wane leading to hot and vibrant summers as well as empty frigid winters as well as an autumn and spring between them. The Ask struggle through the winter which adds to the troubles of the long nights but the next cycle through they are better prepared

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Ariela looks over what has been done so far and just shakes her head. Far to orderly and she can see that things need to be made more fun for the future of the worlds. She is not one for creating, that is far too much work. It is far easy do to what she does best. She fly’s around the sun and steals parts of the sun.
She sees the day and night and knows that the night is her friend and wants to see when she is out. She takes the parts of the sun she stole and throws them around each planet, letting the piece of sun spin around them. She tosses two pieces to make two moons around the last planet.
She smiles as she fly’s up and away.....
Ariela creates Moons, to circle the planets. The moons circling planets with oceans, the moons make the oceans flow more erratically.
The moons despite the intent actually cause the oceans to shift in regular patterns, the moons cast enough light in their burning forms to make night almost as bright as day while even increasing the brighness of day when they come around to the day side of planets

"Eh, the Plants are nice, and booze is awesome. But there's got to be more ways we can get those mortals to party... Oooh!! Animals! Like those cool frogs!! Or the snakes!! yeah. The ones with the Freaky juices. those are the ticket." Haxxor bent his powers to The Cause and and caused all sorts of animals to walk the strip.
Thus did Haxxor create all the animals too insignificant to warrent their own Acts to create them while trying to create toads.
A wide variety of animals spring forth making the once empty strip full of life. Birds, fish, Lizards and more now roam. The Ask slowly begin to adapt to their new neighbors, fearing some in the long nights while some provide a valuable source of food especially in the harsh winters

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Roland reached out into the aether, cutting stones from the cave walls shaping them in to short gray humanoids. He gave them eyes that lit their way with unlight, skin that was unchanged from the marble he made them from, and the strength to tunnel and mine the greatest depths.
Animating the many stones spread over the universe, and speaking to them in a dream before they woke.
“Band together in the darkness, build me alters, fortresses against the light, great places and give them to the greatest of your selves to rule.”
Roland has created Dwarves.
The dwarves make their home in the tunnels below the worlds surviving on the cave dwelling creatures and the sparse vegetation that grows in the darkness though those placed on the barren moons struggle for a time they soon die out due to a lank of real plants and water, The are much more numerous than the Ask and they spread quickly though are unnoted by those that dwell on the surface

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
These creatures have no purpose,
They strive for nothing they just exist,
Azure bestows the power of evolution to the animals and the Ask, the ability to reproduce and to grow stronger, and to separate animals into sub species and the Ask into different races
The power of evolution begins its slow steps of changes but works more slowly for the Ask as they don't have much in the way of variety to power evolution as the animals do though it does seem to rear its head leading the ask to slowly change. Over many generations there may be some significant change in the Ask

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
The Ask are my creations, Azure, yet you gift them as if they were your own! In return, I shall give them knowledge of you, and of the arts of War, that they may defend themselves against Animal and Elemental alike.
Bucol lands on the Strip and whispers in the ears of the Ask elders as they sleep. He tells them of War and of the Great God Azure who helped them to become fertile. He tells them of weapons such as the club, and the spear. He tells them to spread themselves over the Strip like water over a rock. He tells them to remember the Gods and to become brave.
Bucol directs the Ask to become warriors and expand
Azure becomes part of the Ask's oral tradition though the commands to expand are followed only partially as the Ask numbers rise but still slowly and their implements of war are used as much to squabble amongst each other for choice pieces of land as they are to fight off savage animals and hunt

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Ariela looks over the four seasons and sees that they are way too consitant, flowing from one to another. Winter into Spring and then Summer and then fall. She reaches out with her gloved fingers, picking days of the seasons, Winter, Summer, Fall and Spring. She smiles as she gets a little of each seaon and tosses it into space, juggling the many days of the seasons she has. She is nto sure how many of each she has as she tosses them randomly into the four seasons.
She tosses 4 or 5 days of each into the other seasons
The four seasons are made more random, such as a day of winter suddenly happening in the summer.
And now each season has some part of the others in it leading the animals and Ask to have to deal with sudden changes in what they believed to be the war or cold seasons

"Creatures live,
And creatures die.
Their body is a sarcophagus.
Every death is a waste
The souls are prisoners in the carcass.
You shall freed from the corps,
I open the gates between the sites.
I make a Hall from chains and dreams
You may wait here for the next life."
The hall of Expectation for the souls of the creatures which die. Every single soul moves to this place after its death, and feels like a dream until it wants to be reborn, then it can leave the Hall. But he can only be reborn as the same kind of creature.
Gabryael creates the Hall of Expectation .
The hall is formed and ready to receive souls but none ever come, none among the living had been granted souls in their creation

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Sixt stands finally from her desk at the divine palace, and looks out at all creation again, shaking her head slightly. "Warriors? Greedy miners? Delightful to see these races, but I shall not favour them." With that, one of her parchments levitated before her, glowing with her godly magics. A quill pen levitated as well, and with only a flick of her wrist in midair, she dotted i's and crossed t's, and her first official act was recorded. And just as the last punctuation mark was added, a female member of the Ask race appeared before her, nude and asleep.
Sixt let the pen and parchment fall, then stepped forward, touching her slender fingers to the woman's forehead, which changed her appearance to match that of the Goddess, with a long and swishing cat's tail, large cat ears replacing the others, and catslit eyes. She whispered then, "Forget your warlike ways, and become the Neko race. Carry out my will in your mortal realm; learn, research, invent. Do not fear for your safety, you will create superior technology to protect you. Do not concern yourselves with order or morality or traditions, embrace the changes brought about by your discoveries and know that it is a strength."
That said, Sixt multiplied her creation, to be as many and varied as a race should be, male and female, a range of skin tones, hair and eye colours... and she sent them out to the habitable planets, including the strip.
Thus Sixt creates the Neko race, her image in appearance, intelligent and progressive
The Neko race of cat people forms and spreads across the land. They attempt to follow their goddess's will to learn but the struggle of surviving on the strip coupled with the warlike nature of the ask does not leave much time for study. Though the Neko on the planets have little to contend with as the dwarves don't bother the surface dwellers, in time the Neko make small steps along the road to advancement, in time they would become a wise and leaned people

"Oooh, we're creating seintent little mortals now? And laying claim to them!! Such the temptation to steal his little mortals. Instead I shall make my own." Haxxor looked around and grabbed a Fox. "You! You little mortal creature... You will be my plaything. Grow big, and tall... You'll need hands for manipulating tools, if you're going to trick anyone. Oooh!! Form-changing!! Shapeshifting!! Yessssss... Let's make a little race of shapeshifters!! Oh they'll be so cute!! And detection. Cannot let you be caught by nasty magics... Hmmmm... What else will my little peoples need?? Brains!! Big curious partying brains!! Of course!! Worthy of a Partying God like me!!" He waggled his finger at the fox. "And I'll expect you to be worthy little mortals. That's right. Don't disappoint ol' Haxxor." And then he placed the Fox down, and sprinkled his magic over it. The creature grew and changed, become that which Haxxor had described.
And thus did the race of Kitsune, The First To Party walk the Earth.
The Kitsune take their place on the Strip and much like other races have too much in the way of survival needs before they can party. Their small size in particular is a burden as they are hunted by both animals and the Ask, they end up spending much of their time in the forms of animals hiding and fleeing, often ending up in trouble when a bet or their curiosity put them in dangerous situations

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Caius looked out among the creations of the gods, watching as they unfurled. Though slow to act, the god of the earth lamented that the beings of the world had no fine material with which to express themselves with. Though he cared not for war, the simple tools with which the Ask and the Dwarfs were forced to work with pained his heart for they were hardly suited to move the earth and rock he had created. The god moved among the worlds, plunging his fingers deep into the crust, drawing out the power of the still burning cores of the planets. As he withdrew his touch, the cores rose up and changed, forming new rocks and metals, minerals and gems. The god smiled as the worlds were seeded with materials with which to create.
Thus Caius brought forth minerals to the worlds and the strip.
Minerals take their place in the cosmos, The dwarves being the first and only race at this point to discover them though they have as yet not made much use of them though some few free thinkers may be on the edge of a breakthrough

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Bucol looked upon the Ask and was proud, they did as he asked, they remembered the gods, they became warriors. Unfortunately, they could not become a large people, for their numbers were few and their lives were made short by the very weapons that were given them for protection. Bucol lamented for his creations, and decided action was needed.
Appearing before the Ask in broad daylight for the first time, he caused quite a stir. Friends! Lend me your ears! I am your creator, I am Bucol! Most did not believe him, but one girl, Bruna, had faith in him. She saw into his eyes and shouted to the world, "This IS him! Who else would have stars in his eyes?" By and by, the Ask came to look. As the majority finally conceded that he was Bucol, He announced his plan.
Children, I come with a solution so you may follow my will more fully! I still want you to expand your cities and your race, so I have decided that from the first day of natural spring, today, to the end of the week, we shall have a festival in my honor! There shall be no war made on these next 7 days, but much merriment, feasting and sexual relation. This will please me Mightily!
With a Huzzah, all was made ready, and by the end of the night, there was food and drink, and throngs of people were all enjoying themselves. Bucol himself made Bruna into a woman on the first night, and though he had many women that week, Bruna was still his favorite. He left after a long goodbye, in the hopes that this would soon swell their numbers, and would remain in their memories a long time.
Bucol starts the Festival of Bucol for all people who would worship him.
And so the festival takes place, the children conceived in that week are a step in raising the number of Ask to be comparable with those of other sentient races

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
The Goddess is forced to stop before she can perform her next Act, in order to observe the Acts of the other gods, and record them. "Shape-shifting, how interesting." Sixt turned to Caius then, who had acted as well, "And, oh, what's this?" Sixt made a selection of each of the metals, minerals, stones and gems that Caius had littered the worlds of creation with, bringing small samples in front of her, floating there, glowing with her power.
"These are all very nice," she started, examining a gemstone as it rotated and turned in midair before her, "but my people need something...more. I suppose many of these, in the right shapes and configurations, could make powerful automations, but..." Sixt waved her hand, and all the rocks and metals and gems and things flew away, returning to where ever they came from. She levitated a pen and parchment with her power, and very quickly words, drawings and schematics appeared on the pages. A final dot at the end of the last sentence, and the pen and parchment dropped, something else appearing in it's place.
A small sphere, blue and crystalline in appearance, but glowing enough to illuminate the nearby area in faint blue light. Sixt, now shrouded in this somewhat dramatic lighting, read off the properties of this stone, "Lightweight, spread throughout the ground alongside all the minerals of Caius' creation, but rare and very special: this stone, anbar, can generate energies which can power machines. In addition, anbar can capture and release energies of all sorts - electric, magic, even life-force."
As she finishes speaking, a small stand appears on her desk for her sample of anbar to sit it, so she may have that reminder of her creation. And she sits.
And thus, Sixt created anbar, a special gemstone that creates electrical energy, and can store and release other energies as well.
The anbar is seeded but those that find it have much to learn before they realize its true potential and for now it is viewed as simply another gemstone

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Caius smiled as Sixt created such a wonderful mineral. "This is truly astounding, and I myself am inspired by such a creation." Reaching into the depths of the worlds once more, Caius drew out nine pieces of the stone and working them in his hands he formed them into a perfect sphere. "This anbar is indeed a marvel, and it holds such creative potential." Once more he reached into the depths of the earth and drew forth some of the metals and gemstones he had created. Using the materials he forged nine suits of what appeared to be armor. Each was gloriously beautiful and each unique in its form and material. Accented with ornate carvings, the god spent much time with each, building designs around gemstones polished and smoothed into the surfaces. Taking up the anbar that he had plucked from the worlds, he carefully set one large sphere, about the size of a grapefruit into each of the suits. He covered each anbaric core with more of the ornate armor. Inside he fashioned intricate mechanisms to allow movement, strengthening them with his magic so they would wear slowly even with constant use. And at last the god looked upon his work and smiled.
The nine suits of armor stood lifeless before him, and the earth god reached once more into the hotly burning core, taking but a touch of the first creation he infused the anbar with its energy. "Now live! You shall descend to the world and you shall create. Build and prosper. Craft the mightiest of weapons, the strongest of armors, the most beautiful cities, the most delicate ornaments. You shall be master craftsman of all things, including yourselves. You shall require nothing to sustain you, save that which must repair your bodies. I shall grant each of you a spark, and from each of you, you shall bear another. Form a sphere of perfect anbar and place it into your most wonderful creation and touch it with your own to infuse it with life, and thus you shall grow. But let it not be some paltry item. It must be of the highest craftsmanship, wrought by your own hands, and of the finest materials; for you may spread only twice, and the same shall hold true for your creations. Treasure those creations above all others, but do not forget to hone your skills crafting all manner of things. Do not allow others to temper your creativity, but let them inspire you. Do not seek battle or wealth, create for the glory of all things. Go forth and gather materials from the earth. Carve monuments of stone, forge items and tools of metal, gather from the living things their parts and use them as you will. Watch and learn from others and the world around you, for inspiration comes from all things."
Thus Caius breathed life into his creations and sent one of the Anbaric Golems to each world he had created, before sending the final three to the Strip, hiding them in the caves of the worlds so that they are less likely to be discovered.
The Anbaric golems go forth but their propagation is quite slow as they are limited in number and dwarves have claimed many of the large deposits of resources. And the work involved in obtaining the rare materials is a lot for an individual or even 3, and progress is hindered by lack of light to work by On the still barren planet the Golem makes progress as there are no other races there to interfere though mining the materials needed is a lot of work, On the restless barren planet the Golem faces the possibility of destruction each day as unpredictable shifts in the world beneath the surface

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
He approvingly nodded ever so slightly to Caius, "I see you too realize life is a waste of energy. In fact, lets see if we can't shift the living being's work over unto the restless abominations we have created, as they are already working, and the living beings should rest when their work is done better by our Creations. You have removed their need to work to create means of protection or artistic beauty, so I shall remove their need to find means of continuing living"
With some reluctance, as they are truly abominations - a bit reminiscent of tumor-ridden test-rats from another world and another time, left over from dark experiments - Morier once again turned his attention to the Elementals, and specifically those of Earth.
"You shall have the power and desire to create life from the earth, going over the lands you live around and bringing forth plants and trees to give other life-forms their every physical need. So, plants that collect water, plants they may eat for their every nutritious need, and giant plants for shade. As they consume or destroy the plants, you shall bring forth more, and when there is no plants to replace you shall work to spread it. As the restless abominations you are, do as you have to do as I have said, but you may not endanger anything of life, as your purpose is to serve as their gardeners"
Morier makes the Earth Elementals into divinely-powered gardeners.
The elementals go to work having little to do in the way of fruit bearing plants as those already existed but plants that collected water as well as large shady plants flourished. The other races were concerned about the earthen creatures moving about the land but grew less wary when the Elementals made no action against them. The Races make use of these new benefits and become moderately dependent on them as the ease of getting the food is much more than they were used to. hunting still occurs in the seasons when the plants aren't available but as long as the elementals keep the plants growing the races of the world devour them.

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Seated at Gabryeal's table in the Divine Palace, Tritona gazed upon the many works of the other gods in the ice mirror. She noded in agreement as various members of the pantheon brought forth creatures in their own image, or the image that appealed most to them. She watched as the races of creatures upon the land prospered and multiplied, while her own realm was mostly deserted because she had not acted to populate it yet.
Generating a great water sphere between her hands, Tritona called forth one of each species of creature living in the oceans of the strip and the planets. Taking a cue from her bretheren, she began to splice and combine the essences of multiple species into new combinations and variations, taking the different features from each one to create new lifeforms. Small, quick fishes to travel in groups; larger fish became hunters, strong, swift, with sharp teeth and jaws, but few in number; others she made into prey, eaters of plants or other debris in the oceans, small but numerous. Several new species she enlarged to a size that made the Ask appear small in comparison, and the Kitsun and Neko to be diminutive. Still more forms were stretched and elogated, either in their bodies, or fins, appendages or limbs, granting each an individual method of locomotion and acquisition of food. The Goddess of the Oceans was pleased with her work up to this point, but upon seeing the Anbar golems created by Caius, she modified some of her own creations to have their bones and protective shells on the outside of their bodies, thereby increasing the variety of creatures even further. The final series of modifications that she made to her new creations was to a select few, some of them smaller than a Neko's paw, some were the size and round shape of the god's table at which she sat, able to flex their bodies to leap out of the waters and soar above them for a short time; and others were some of the largest of her creatures, the long, sinuous Kraken, with their teeth filled maws and hunger for meat. In those instances when the creatures were able to venture above the waters, Tritona saw the need for them to be able to breathe the atmosphere and still live, and thus they were made so.
Tritona's fingers stretched into the water sphere and touched each individual living thing for an instant, just long enough for a green spark to pass from the Goddess into each creature before moving on to the next. "My children," the Goddess addressed all of the new and old species swimming within her water sphere, "I give you the vast oceans of all the worlds to thrive and multiply in. The larger shall feed upon the smaller, and the hunters will ever be outnumbered by those they prey upon. Your physical size shall not determine your abilities; a few of the smallest shall be the most lethal; some of the largest shall be meek; nor shall you be confined to live only within my realm for those of you who can move upon the land and through the air have my blessing to venture outside the limits of my waters, but you and your offspring shall forever feel a connection and affinity to the seas from which you have been born. You, and your kind, have all received names by my touch, and it is by these names that you will be known by all. There is one name, subordinate to my own, and Ao above me, to which you will all give fealty, and that name is 'Gorgani'. Remember it, for the Gorgani shall I make after my own image and set over you all, making them the greatest race beneath the seas. I send you forth now into every climate and location, go, be plentiful, multiply and live well. Know that when you die, your bodies will become nourishment to feed all within my oceans and your bones will become the building blocks of the structures under the waves."
The water sphere evaporated as the creatures multiplied and were dispersed in great numbers throughout all the oceans of every planet and the world strip.
Tritona creates and multiplies the variety of living creatures within the oceans of the worlds; granting some the ability to live outside Her waters; giving each a name; setting them within a hierarchy of prey and predator and establilshing the yet as uncreated race of Gorgani as the apex of all her subjects.
The variety of sea life exploded and in some cases into new untapped territory. All were ready for the day when they would be subservient to the Gorgani but that day was not today

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
As Haxxor roamed the Earth, He saw how the Kitsune and certain other tricksters were growing. And he thought it was good. As a trick he assumed the form of them and walked amongst them. There he saw a Young Kitsune who captured his attention. The child was a thief, quick and sure. And yet he and his friends partied as if there would be no tomorrow. Haxxor was impressed that one had grown into a figure so like him!! In a mortal no less!! He was all the more impressed when the child stole the money he'd incarnated as part of his disguise.
Haxxor didn't let him get away with it of course. He grabbed the kid by the scruff of the neck. "Know you who you're stealing from boy??" And gave the boy the barest glimpse of the divinity within him.
the boy fell to his knees and cowered before Haxxor. But as Haxxor approached, the boy grabs some sand and threw it in Haxxor's eyes. Another surprise!! He had actually gotten a trick in on the God of Trickery himself. That is when Haxxor knew, he had to bless this one. He was too good, and without proper guidance, he could be trouble.
Later that night when the child was partying with his friends, Haxxor deemed it was time. With a wave of his hand he increased the strength of the booze the others were drinking, to the point where they passed out instantly. Haxxor floated in and Hovered over the now alone child. "I am Haxxor, God of thieves, trickery, Luck and Partying. I created your race, and you have the audacity to steal from me. Well done!! I will bestow upon you some magic. So long as you remain true to my ways and have faith I will grant you magic." So he wove his power deeply and though he DIDN'T TELL the kid the mechanics of the power (to see how well he could trick his way to more power), Haxxor created Divine magic, and Faith power.
And thus was Divine and Faith-based power brought into the world, by the Rules recorded in GURPS 4.0 (Divine Magic, True Faith, Blessed that kind of thing.)
Little happened immediately thoguh each of the deities felt a small tug as it seemed that their power was open to those they wished to share it with particularly those that would worship them

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
The races still are weak,
still trying to survive,
they need more efficient tools and weapons,
I teach all the races of metals most importantly the workings of these metals.
All races know of basic metals such as copper, bronze, and Iron, and how to make basic tools and weapons
All the races gain knowledge but the first to begin crafting with metals were the golems due to their innate skill, The dwarves with their drive to mine had accumulated piles of some of the materials and as if through divine inspiration finally saw a great use for them. The surface races became aware of the materials but had more trouble finding them even when they wanted to the ask accumulated some in shallow mines while the Neko had difficulty in acquiring any without conflicting with the Ask, and the Kitsune were scattered and individuals chose to steal materials rather than get their own and the few that did did it for the fact that the object was interesting or shiny and not for whatever usefulness it may have

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Cauis saw his creations struggling in the darkness of the earth and it saddened him. "My creations, you lack the feel of the earth. Your struggles are hard and I feel for your plight." The god reaches out to the Anbaric Golems and touches each of them, granting them the sense of the earth around them, more accurately the closer they were, but able to feel changes for 200 meters in all directions.
And so the god allowed the golems to feel the earth, it's shape and its variations so that they would know not only their surroundings, but so they might know where minerals and gemstones could be found.
The golems became much more adept in the underground even more so than the dwarves that lacked the ability to detect or under masses of rocks. Curiously a small slip caused this ability to only detect things of the earth so some living creatures were still a danger though not many bothered to fight

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Roland reached into the core taking it and mixing it with the stuff of dreams, after playing with the molten hot green goo. He grew bored of it and cast the gel into the aether, It shot though the strip solidifying into a strange green stone.
"Lets see what mortals do with fire and dreams."
Everyone in the vicinity of a lump of unrefined Warpstone for more than a few hours is in danger of gaining a mutation. Refined Warpstone is considerably less dangerous. It takes the form of translucent crystals or a grey powder that must be ingested (or otherwise enter the body) to even get a chance of causing any mutations. Its long-term effects, though, seem to be similar to those of some psychoactive drugs. It’s also a very potent fuel, even more so when refined.
Dwarves might use the magic-infused stone to run huge war engines and strange inventions out of a mad scientist’s worst nightmare.
Roland has made warpstone.
Warpstone is formed and races avoid it like the plague it is. it does not take long to learn that the stone shifts and twist those around it. The Ask begin to limit their mining while dwarves dug deep pits an that the filled and then buried to be rid of the Dark-Stone, the only race that took no worries of the stone were the Anbaric Golems due to their lack of a normal living body. Though perhaps the stone would twist something deeper in them

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Then Later Haxxor came back to the child as he approached manhood. "Teach my Kitsune to follow me. Teach the People of your place to follow me, then move onto the rest of the world. Organized you can do far more than separate." The Kitsune was so moved by this, that he did infact organize his bretheren for greater worship of Haxxor (read parties), and greater teaching of the things that were pleasing to him (read thieving or possibly more partying).
And Thus did mortals gain the idea of Organized Religon (or possibly Theives' Guilds).
The Kitsune begin to learn of Haxxor's religion though they have trouble converting others due to the nature of the differences between the races and the Kitsunes habits of stealing from others

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Ariela looked at the races and grinned. She looked into the hearts of all the races and put in a wander lust to go and create mischief and commit acts of bold crimes in a select few of all the races. She put the desire to go forth and take what they need to survive in tricky and mischievous ways. They would have the knowledge to survive moving around and the desire to do it. They would worship her and she will protect her own. She would create her own race but it was too much work. They would be a minority in all of the races but with their cunning, they would survive.
And thus Gypsies where born of all the races and the desire to separate others from their possessions in a fun and entertaining way.
The gypsies do survive but perhaps not as hoped. When found out they are cast out from the people and tribes, amongst the warlike Ask the gypsies are executed. Whilet hey manage to survive the movements are very limited one it is figured out that they are not just individuals but a group. Once aware of this the races became wary and kept an eye out for those that would behave in such a disruptive manner. The still attempt their actions but not at the frequency or with the boldness one would have hoped

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
World Update
One day whiel the Earth Elementals went about their work as normal they passed near a settlement and the slaughter began. The golems went forth killing that which lay in their path, on all the worlds above and below the earth the Elementals ran amok, the races rushed to arms or ran depending on their capabilities. The Anbaric Golems so small in number banded with the dwarves on the worlds thay coinhabited. The Golems on the barren worlds were destroyed While the Neko sought safety with the Ask, The Kitsune used their Guile and trickery to hide in their own ways doubting that they would be welcomed by the others.
For many days battles were waged and settlements defended. in the end many were dead though the Elemental numbers in the areas around the settlements grew smaller. Despite the lack of reproduction of the Elementals the people of the worlds still had to fear the assault of those left on their worlds

Re: Aeon I : Age of Creation
Those things that attacked, says Bucol to the Chief of one of the Clans of the Ask, disguised as an elder, those things got me thinking about our place. We were told to be strong by our lord Bucol. Perhaps this is the first of many tests. Perhaps we were put on the Strip, not just to fight, but to protect the others. You know of the Neko that have come within our borders, seeking shelter, yes? "Indeed I do," replied the man. "And they do not want for food, or water, though they have put a significant dent in our supply hold. What about them?"
Perhaps the gods sent them to us for a reason. While they may not be a warrior race, they perhaps have their own uses. For example, in the market the other day, I saw a child of the Neko. He was playing with the other children, but with a flying toy he'd created out of several small stones and a bit of string. Flight, by itself! The device had such sophistication that when I asked to look at it, I could not fathom how to work it, or how he'd built it with these pieces.
"Are you relating to me that the Neko living within our territories have the power of flight?" Asked the Chief, completely astonished. He seemed as if he were going to interrogate and kill the Neko one by one until he'd discovered their technology.
No sir! No. I asked him the very thing myself and apparently it's merely a trick that can only be replicated on a small scale. Imagine the ridiculousness of a person flying! Bucol in his guise laughed raucously, though thoughts of flight seemed to stay in the chief's mind.
"Get on with it, old man. What are you trying to say?" I think... and here was a long pause as Bucol summoned up his power, I think the Ask should become protectors of all races who would have our help, and form a society based on the will of one man, moving the people with his words and vast armies as though they were his hands and feet. "And who would this man be," laughed the Chief, "You? some ancient codger who can barely hold himself to piss?" No, my lord.
You.
Weeks later, the first Ask Empire came into being. At a tournament, the chiefs of all the clans fought to the death for the right to be called King. With each death, the lords inherited what they killed, until only two clans remained. A long and hard battle led to the man Bucol had chosen winning the rights to all clans. Ask everywhere cheered for their new King. All who wished to join were allowed, even the Gypsies, though soon there were laws in place against thieving and malicious mischief making.
Bucol, keeping his guise for many years, became an influential man, advising the King as he steered the Ask toward city building and the king to the ways of leadership. At his "death" they burned him, and scattered his ashes into the sea as a great teacher.
Bucol helps begin the First Ask Empire
The empire gorws and organizes itself. The empire splits into provinces headed by the tribes that failed in the tournament for the emperor, There is still internal conflict but much more subdued, The Gypsies are brought to line within the empire becoming much more minor in the mischief they cause. The emperor took on a Neko as an adviser, and as the empire spreads they begin more ambitious projects which leads to their imminent contact with the dwarves
